Pregnancy & Selfcare: a Journey of Care and Magic

Pregnancy is one of the most extraordinary journeys a woman can experience. Your body creates new life — a process that is deeply transformative, magical, and at times overwhelming. During this period, selfcare is not a luxury, but a necessity. By consciously creating space for relaxation, nurturing touch, and attention to yourself, you not only support your own well-being, but also that of your growing baby.
I am Aimée Vriend, a mother of two children and a specialist in pregnancy massage with 17 years of experience. Through my personal journey into motherhood and my professional expertise, I offer you a safe and nurturing space where you can truly relax, restore, and reconnect — tailored to each phase of your journey.
Preparing for Pregnancy
If you wish to prepare your body and mind for pregnancy, my Holistic Belly Massage and Holistic Belly Ceremony are wonderful ways to support yourself.
-
Holistic Belly Massage: This deeply relaxing treatment focuses on the energy pathways, organs, and the “emotional brain” in the abdominal area. It helps restore balance, improves energy flow, and strengthens your connection to your womb and self.
-
Holistic Belly Ceremony: A more profound experience, combining ritual, intention, and massage, creating sacred space for new life to emerge. A powerful moment of preparation and reflection.
During Pregnancy
During the first trimester (up to 12 weeks), I recommend not receiving body massages as your body is deeply engaged in early development. However, you are very welcome for a relaxing facial — a soothing treatment to nurture yourself and bring peace to your body and mind.
From the second trimester (from 13 weeks onward), you are warmly invited for a full pregnancy massage — right up until your due date!
-
I work with a special pregnancy massage table, designed with a comfortable belly space, allowing you to safely and blissfully lie on your stomach — a rare and wonderful feeling during pregnancy.
Each massage session is carefully adapted to your changing body, relieving tension, improving circulation, and bringing deep relaxation for both you and your baby.
After Birth

The postpartum period is a time of intense love and giving — but your own healing and care are just as important.
-
Postpartum Massage: Starting about two weeks after birth, you can come for a restorative, nurturing massage. This treatment supports physical recovery, balances your hormones, and helps you reconnect with your new body.
-
Welcome Mama Ceremony: From six weeks postpartum, you are welcome to join this beautiful three-hour ritual that honors your journey into motherhood.
Please note: because the ceremony is deep and extended, it is best to arrange childcare during this time. If you are breastfeeding, you are welcome to bring a breast pump for feeding breaks.
You deserve to feel nurtured, seen, and held.
Wherever you are on your journey — I am here to support you with expertise, intuition, and deep care.
Welcome to Aimée Vriend — where selfcare begins with truly listening to your body and heart.
